The Rescue Complementary Support Corps led by their commandant, Olubunmi Odunuga have paid a working visit to the corporate headquarters of Parrot Xtra Media Network on Ring Road, Ibadan, the capital city of Oyo State.
The visit was part of the organisation’s moves to strengthen its collaboration with media houses in the state.
The commandant stated that Rescue CS Corps has its presence in Oyo, Abia, Kwara, with its headquarters located in Abuja.
Speaking further, Commandant Odunuga revealed that part of the duties of the agency include complementing the efforts of other sister agencies in road traffic management, internal security management, women and widow empowerment among others.
He added that the group has empowered many indigent people through its empowerment programs as a way of giving back to the society while promising not to relent.
In his response, the Edito-in-Chief/Publisher at Parrot Xtra Media Network, Ambassador Olayinka Agboola pledged to use PMParrot.com, Parrot Xtra Magazine and the outfit’s radio programme, Parrot Xtra Hour on Splash 105.5fm to promote the activities of Rescue CS Corps.
His words “We are ready to support you with everything we have since we have similar aims and objectives to promote the well-being of our people.
Agboola also used the opportunity to urge both the leadership and other members of the corps to remain focused and ensure that discipline is maintained at all times.”
Others who accompanied the commandant included the deputy commandant, Adeleye Oluwowo, Bamiwaye Kayode, Dupe Lawal and Emmanuel Idowu.
