Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) chieftain and current National Secretary of the Interim National Working Committee (INWC), Ambassador Taofeek Oladejo Arapaja, has officially joined the 2027 Oyo State governorship race in Oyo State after submitting his Expression of Interest and Nomination Forms.
Arapaja submitted his documents to the PDP’s National Organising Secretary, Dakas Shan, marking his readiness to compete for the party’s gubernatorial ticket.
The development signals Amb. Arapaja’s formal entry into the race for the governorship ticket of the Peoples Democratic Party ahead of the next electoral cycle in Oyo State.
Party faithful and supporters present during the submission reaffirmed the party’s popular slogan, “PDP… Power to the People,” expressing optimism over the party’s chances in the forthcoming political contest.
Amb. Arapaja, a former Deputy National Chairman (South) of the PDP, remains one of the prominent figures within the PDP structure both in the state and at the national level.
