The Chairman of the Ekiti State Petroleum Product Consumer Agency, Elder Adeyemi Adebayo has warned marketers of petroleum products against hoarding fuel or selling above the Federal Government’s approved limit of N145 per litre for the Premium Motor Spirit (PMS).
Elder Adebayo who gave the warning in Ado Ekiti while monitoring sales of petrol in the state, stressed that anybody caught in any form of racketeering or operating black market would be made to face the wrath of the law.
Assuring that the scarcity would soon be over, the PPCPA Chairman cautioned against panic-buying and storing petrol at home, stressing the need for caution to prevent avoidable fire outbreaks during the harmattan period that is susceptible to fire.
