A member of the Oyo State House of Assembly, representing Ibadan South West state constituency 2, Hon. Oluwafemi Oluwafowokanmi, has celebrated his political mother, Alhaja Bose Adedibu, on the occasion of her 70th birthday.
In a congratulatory message released on Friday, Hon. Oluwafowokanmi described Alhaja Adedibu as a pillar of strength, wisdom, and political guidance in Oyo politics.
“Today marks 70 remarkable years of Mama Bose Adedibu’s life of service, sacrifice, and impact,” the lawmaker said.
“She has been more than a political mother to me. She is a mentor, a counselor, and a driving force behind many of us in the political space today.”
Hon. Oluwafowokanmi credited Alhaja Adedibu for her unwavering support, tutelage, and commitment to nurturing young politicians, especially in Ibadan and across Oyo State. He noted that her legacies continue to shape the political trajectory of the state.
“At 70, Alhaja remains a beacon of hope, unity, and resilience. Her door is always open to young leaders seeking direction, and her counsel has helped stabilise many political structures in Oyo,” he added.
The lawmaker prayed for good health, long life, and continued strength for the septuagenarian as she continues to contribute to the growth of the state and the country at large.
Alhaja Bose Adedibu, widow of the late strongman of Ibadan politics, Chief Lamidi Adedibu, is widely regarded as a matriarch and influential voice in Oyo State politics.
