The Speaker of the Ekiti State House of Assembly, Right Honourable (Pastor) Kola Oluwawole, has described the Ewi of Ado-Ekiti, His Royal Majesty, Oba Rufus Adejugbe, Aladesanmi III, as a progressive traditional ruler whose reign brought immense progress, not only to Ado-Ekiti town, but also the entire Ekiti State.
Pastor Oluwawole, in a statement by his Special Assistant (Media), Stephen Gbadamosi, in Ado-Ekiti, on Friday, while congratulating the traditional ruler on his birthday, noted that having the Ewi around for many more decades would be “blessing unlimited” for the state.
He also conveyed the heartfelt felicitations of all the members of the House of Assembly, principals and staff of the institution to the traditional ruler, praying that God grants him more wisdom and good health to lead the people of the town.
The Speaker said; “it is a thing of joy, Kabiyesi, that you witness another milestone. You are a progressive monarch. Your reign has brought immense progress and development to the town of Ado-Ekiti. It has brought immense progress to Ekiti State as a whole.
“Needless to say, having you around in good health for much more decades will mean unlimited blessing to Ekiti State, because, in my estimation, you are a blessed of the Lord. On behalf of myself and my family, I congratulate you on this milestone.
“The entire members of the Ekiti State House of Assembly, the principal officers and entre staff of our institution felicitate with you. And we pray that Ekiti State will become a state of our dream during this your reign. May God continue to uphold you and your entire household as well as the Ewi-in-Council.”
