In upholding the spirit of giving which the holy month of Ramadan stands for, the Zawiyat Nimotalahi Faido Al-Tijaniya Society of Nigeria (ZANFAT) has held a program tagged: ‘Feeding the Needy’.
The program according to the founder and Chief missioner of the Islamic organization, Fadilat Sheik Ibrahim Fatai Kamikun Cissey is conceptualized to reach out to the less privileged people irrespective of their religion and background.
“We came up with this concept last year which makes it the second edition during this year’s Ramadan and the objective is to assist the less privileged with food items and provision indiscriminately, not minding the religion or background of the beneficiaries”, said Sheik Kaminkun.
He, however, charged Muslims all over the world and all members of Zawiyat Nimotalahi Faido Al-Tijaniya Society of Nigeria (ZANFAT) to imbibe Prophet Muhammad’s leadership traits.
“Giving indiscriminately was a trait of the Holy Prophet Mohammed (SAW), hence we should endeavor to imbibe such benevolent spirit, especially in this month of Ramadan where Allah rewards whatever we do in multifolds”.
Sheik Kamikun added that Prophet Muhammad has been widely recognized as the greatest leader the world has ever known in the history of mankind because the Prophet’s life and teachings are the best legacies for mankind.
Feed the Needy was held on Sunday 19th May at the Eid Praying Ground Arola, along Apete, Ibadan where ZAMFAT used for their weekly fellowship (Asalatu).
