The wife of the Ekiti State Head of Service, Mrs. Olufunmilola Ajayi has described resilience as a great virtue that should be imbibed by workers to engender rapid growth for organisations.

Speaking at the sendoff programme organised to celebrate the Cluster Consultant, World Health Organisation (WHO), Mrs. Afolakemi Ogunlaja being transferred from Ekiti, she said her resilience and dedication is unrivaled.

She commended Mrs. Ogunlaja for working relentlessly to ensure responsibilities committed to her were discharged with competence and expertise, noting that her team spirit and ability to carry her colleagues and subordinates along resonates her maturity and humility, hence, the success stories witnessed in her twelve years sojourn in Ekiti State.

She enjoined women to emulate the virtues of hard work and perseverance obviously exhibited by Mrs. Ogunlaja.

Earlier, the Head of Service, Mr. Ayodeji Ajayi eulogized Mrs. Ogunlaja for being a rallying point for most of her colleagues, describing her as a rare breed.

He noted that the programme had to be put together to recognise her sterling qualities and huge contributions to the Health Organisation. In her response, Mrs. Ogunlaja, who could not hide her joy, appreciated family and friends, particularly the Ayodeji Ajayi family for the honour accorded her.

She disclosed that her success stories received a huge support from the Ajayi family as the couple always encouraged her to put in her best. Her husband, Mr. Ogunlaja encouraged the Ajayi family and other present not to relent in good works, noting that such would always attract pleasant returns.
