The richest woman in Africa and Chancellor, Osun State University, Chief (Mrs) Folorunso Alakija has stretched hands of support to Abolarin College in Oke Ila Orangun being administered by Oba Adedokun Abolarin, the Orangun of Oke Ila Orangun.

Alakija sent her representatives to the school that is noted for admitting only the extremely brilliant students but from poor homes.

Oba Abolarin, in a Facebook post expressed his appreciation to the God-fearing Alakija who sent food items to the school to commemorate her 70th birthday during the week.

Oba (Lawyer) Abolarin wrote: “Chief (Mrs) Folorunso Alakija, the Chancellor of Osun State University, Osogbo and the richest woman in Africa,  yesterday through her representatives, extended her love to our School children with the presentation of, food items to commemorate her 70th birthday.

“It was indeed a great day never to be forgotten. This show of love, is indeed what we teach our students through our college anthem ‘God make my life a little light, within the world to glow, a little flame that burneth bright, wherever I may go. God make my life a little staff, whereon the weak may rest, That so what health and strength I have, may serve my neighbors best’. We are indeed extremely grateful”.
