Former Senate President, Chief Pius Anyim has condoled with the family of late Senator Gbenga Aluko over the sudden demise of the illustrious politician from Ekiti state, describing his death as a national loss.
The former Senate president stated this in a statement made available to PMParrot during the week describing the former Senator as a vibrant, intelligent and distinguished fellow who served in the 4th Senate in the hallowed chamber of the National Assembly.
He said, “You were not only my colleague, but my friend and ally, when we left the senate, I had an occasion to write a referral for you and I took time to pour out my heart on who you were then”.
He, however, sympathised with the members of the family and the Ekiti state government over the loss of an illustrious son of the state who left an indelible mark during his sojourn on earth.
