Adaramodu, Guber Aspirant Identifies Why Ekiti State Has Not Been Progressing

Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) gubernatorial aspirant in Ekiti state, Mr Kayode Adaramodu has revealed that lack of developmental roadmap has retarded the progress of the state since it was created 25 years ago.

He stated this during an interactive session with journalists in Ado-Ekiti, the Ekiti state capital recently.

He further stated that the creation of Ekiti state started with a clear blueprint, adding that the blueprint was adequate for any government to implement and to develop the state with the visions of the founding fathers.

“I will say to a very large extent that I am very familiar with the terrain, when I left banking, my first career was in the area of consultancy. I became a Development Consultant to DFID and I ensured that every project that I participated in had one or two things to do with Ekiti.

He, however, blamed successive government for not continuing with the developmental programmes and policy framework meant to take the state to greater heights.
