Protesters have shut down Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa office at Alagbaka, Akure, the Ondo State capital again over the killing of five farmers by armed herdsmen.
Many persons were killed earlier this month by herdsmen in a reprisal attack on four communities in Akure Norh local government area.
The protesters said the farmers were shot dead on Wednesday morning at Aba Oyinbo, Akure North Local Government Area.
They displayed bodies of the slain farmers in front of the Governor’s office.
Protesters have also blocked the Akure-Owo highway at Ogbese to protest the killing of the five farmers.
Many motorists were said to have been stranded on the highway.
