Ms Derinsola Abiola, one of the daughters of the acclaimed winner of the June 12, 1993 presidential election, late Chief MKO Abiola, has been appointed by President Bola Tinubu as the Director-General of the Citizenship and Leadership Training Centre (CLTC).
Rinsola, an expert in strategic communication and government relations, previously served as Senior Special Assistant to the President.
A statement issued by the president’s spokesperson, Bayo Onanuga, said Tinubu also announced the appointment of Nasir Bala Aminu Ja’oji as Senior Special Assistant on Citizenship and Leadership.
Ja’oji, who had served as Special Adviser on Mobilisation to the Governor of Kano State and a member of the Governing Council of Coordinated Arewa Youth Groups, is an advocate of women and youth empowerment and development.
Derinsola is one of the children of Alhaja (Chief) Mrs Sitirat Titi Abiola.
