Governor Biodun Oyebanji of Ekiti State has approved the release of ₦31,350,000 as financial assistance to 209 Ekiti indigenes currently studying across the seven campuses of the Nigerian Law School.
The Executive Secretary of the Ekiti State Scholarship Board, Mrs. Bukola Faluyi who made this known in a statement in Ado-Ekiti, described the gesture as being in line with Governor Oyebanji’s Shared Prosperity mantra, which emphasizes inclusive growth, youth empowerment, and human capital development.
Faluyi added that the financial support underscores the Governor’s unwavering commitment to promoting access to quality education and empowering Ekiti youths to achieve their academic and professional aspirations
She disclosed that each beneficiary of the support programme will receive ₦150,000 to cushion the cost of tuition and living expenses during the programme.
In appreciation, the beneficiaries commended Governor Oyebanji for his generous support and consistent concern for students’ welfare, describing him as a visionary leader who continues to invest in education and create opportunities for young people to excel.
