Bat Global Ambassadors (BATGA), a frontline political, social, and cultural self-funding independent campaign support group has announced its firm support for the Minister of Power and Energy, Chief Adebayo Adelabu, regarding the recent power outage at the University College Hospital, UCH, Ibadan.
In a statement issued over the weekend in Abuja, the group said, “We urge the public to hold the UCH Ibadan management board accountable for this issue.
“The Minister has intervened multiple times, brokering peace between the management board and IBDEC, but the management has failed to honor its commitments.
“We believe it’s unfair to blame the Minister for this situation. The UCH Ibadan management board is responsible for this crisis. We call on them to resolve this issue promptly and ensure uninterrupted power supply to the hospital.
