Meanwhile, the Governor of the Ekiti State chapter of the Theatre Arts and Movie Practitioners Association of Nigeria (TAMPAN), Olasunkanmi Dada, has congratulated veteran Nollywood actor Bolaji Amusan, popularly known as Mr Latin, on his graduation from the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) with a Bachelor of Science degree in Peace and Conflict Resolution.
In a congratulatory message, Dada described the TAMPAN president as a leader and mentor whose latest academic milestone would inspire younger practitioners in the film industry.
“On behalf of myself and the entire members of TAMPAN in Ekiti State, we congratulate our president, Mr Latin, on his latest achievement after bagging a B.Sc from NOUN,” he said.
He noted that the achievement was not surprising, describing Mr Latin as a disciplined and hardworking professional committed to excellence.
Dada, who is also a veteran actor and producer, said the development demonstrates that age is not a barrier to academic or personal advancement.
“For up-and-coming artistes and all of us, this should serve as motivation that nothing is beyond you if you are determined and focused,” he added.
