Few hours after the Supreme Court judgement set aside the status quo ante Bellium, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has restored the names of the Senator David Mark led National Working Committee on its website.
Checks by The Nation revealed that the Commission restored the names at about 9.30pm on Thursday, paving the way for the Mark-led leadership to take full control of preparation for the 2027 general elections.
Those restored are Senator David Mark as National Chairman, Raug Aregbesola as National Secretary, Dr. Mani Ibrahim Ahmad as Organising Treasurer, Akibu Dalhatu as National Financial Secretary and Prof Oserheimen Aigberaodion Osunbor as National Legal Adviser.
