“My late mother, Olajumoke Adesina was a mother of mothers. While growing up with my other siblings including President Muhammadu Buhari’s spokesman, Femi used to be told by her that we should be serious about our academic pursuit at all times. I bless the name of the Lord that her prayer concerning our education was answered. I often laugh anytime I remember her teachings. People often tell me that this is perhaps, why I am a Professor today. You know in those days, we did not have digital clock. I remember her teaching me the ‘hands’ of the clock – the long hand and the short hand that tells the hour and I used to always get them wrong. You can only imagine the kind of beatings I used to be blessed with! She was a great mother. May her soul continue to rest in peace”.
