Ekiti Government Alerts On Military School’s On-Line Registration

Ekiti Government has alerted the public on the on-line registration for the entrance examination into the Nigerian Military School in Zaria.  

According to a statement signed by the Permanent Secretary of the Cabinet and Special Services Department, Office of the Ekiti State Governor, Mrs. Olabisi Akindele, the application will close on Saturday, May 11, 2019.

The statement enjoined interested candidates to visit the website: www.nms1954.sch.ng; click the Apply tab; read the instructions therein carefully;  click the start button; fill in candidates’ personal information; contact details; and then click “Generate Form” to see candidates’ form.

Other steps, according to the Permanent Secretary would include the purchase pin which would involve clicking on “My payment” tab on the candidate’s personal home page and click finally on “Pay now” using the ATM Bank Card to pay the sum of Two thousand, three hundred naira (N2, 300.00) only.

The statement, which further added that interested candidates must be 12 years old by September this year and set the maximum age limit for registration at 14 years, disclosed that the Compendium containing past questions could be purchased from all the Nigerian Army Divisions and Brigade Education at a cost of One thousand naira (N1, 000.00) only.

The applicants are enjoined to ensure the printing of their clean and clear copies of Application form, payment advice slip and Examination Photo-card and to visit the Cabinet and Special Services Department, Ekiti State Governor’s Office for more information and clarification of issues.

Meanwhile, all Coordinating Directors in all the sixteen Local Government areas of Ekiti State have been commended for being good eyes of Ekiti State government at the Council areas.

The State Governor, Dr. Kayode Fayemi, who spoke through the Permanent Secretary Ministry of Local Government and Community Development, Mr. Ayoola Owolabi gave the commendation during the February edition of the Joint Allocation Account Committee (JAAC) meeting held in Ado Ekiti, the Ekiti State capital recently.

The Governor, who assured even development in all the Local Government areas, urged the Coordinating Directors to look inward for fund to complement the effort of the state government at making life better for the citizenry at the third tier of government.
