The Oyo State House of Assembly has announced names of commissioner designates as sent to it by the state’s governor, Engr Seyi Makinde.
This is contained in a letter forwarded to the House by Governor Makinde and read by the Clerk of the House, Ms. Felicia Oyediran at Thursday’s plenary.
The Speaker of the House, Hon. Adebo Ogundoyin, while announcing the list urged the commissioner nominees to forward 14 copies of their corporate curriculum vitae to the Office of the Clerk of the House for proper scrutiny.
The list, as announced by the Speaker, Hon. Ogundoyin contained names of former Members of the state House of Assembly including Hon. Kehinde Ayoola, who was a one-time Speaker during and Barister Adeniyi Farinto.
Also on the list is the name of former council Chairman of Ibadan North West, Dr. Wasiu Olatunbosun and Director General, Seyi Makinde Campaign Organization, Chief Bayo Lawal.
Professor Daudu Shagodoyin, Prof. Oyelowo Oyewo, Dr. Bashir Bello, Bar. Seun Asamu, Bar. Olasunkanmi Olaleye and Hon. Muyiwa Ojekunle and Hon. Adeniyi Adebisi also have their names on the list.
Others are Rahman Abdulraheem, Funmilayo Orisadeyi and Akinola Ojo.
