Parents and guardians have been admonished to give priority to the education of their children in order to for them to become good ambassadors of Nigeria.

The Proprietress, Mahnatez International School, Oluyole, Hajia Bolatito Adebisi gave the admonition during the school’s annual end of the session and send forth programme.

Hajia Adebisi commended the school’s parents and guardians for their support and cooperation all through the years and for believing in the vision of the school.

“Your decision to trust us with your children is part of what brought us here today, your encouragement and constructive criticisms have made us serve you better and is helping us to becoming better.”

The proprietress, however, implored the parents to continue to give priority to their wards’ education, saying that it is the only way for them to be useful to themselves, society and becoming good ambassadors of their families.

She commended the students, particular the graduating students for the good character they have demonstrated during their stay in the school, urging them to keep the flag flying.

Hajia Bolatito, while applauding the effort of teachers and management of the school for their team spirit, dedication and cooperation towards the success of the school, reiterated that the school has organized a ‘Book Fair’ as part of efforts to inculcate the habit of reading into the students of the school.

The proprietress stated further that because many students these days find it difficult to chose careers that will suit their ability, hence the school always organize ‘Career Day’ to excite and motivate the students about the career options and opportunities available to them in the future.

Highlights of the event of the day included the demonstration of Taekwondo skills by the students’ Taekwondo Club, Choreography, presentation of gifts and certificate to outstanding and graduating students as well as cutting of end of the session cake to honour the graduating students.

The event was honoured by members of the school’s Parents/Teachers Association, guardians and well-wishers.
