The Real Care for the Helpless Foundation, the humanitarian arm of the Cherubim and Seraphim Church of Nigeria, has installed Mrs. Bolaji Omikunle as its patron.
The installation ceremony was held at St. James International Community Church (Orisun Ayo), Iyana Adeoyo, Ibadan, the capital city of Oyo State, recently.
The event was marked by special prayers for the safe release of the students and teachers recently abducted from Esiele Ahoro in Oriire Local Government Area of Oyo State.
Speaking shortly after her inauguration, Mrs. Omikunle expressed gratitude to God for His faithfulness, mercy, and protection over her life and family. She also appreciated the church leadership and other spiritual fathers present at the event for their guidance, support, and contributions to her spiritual growth over the years.
Mrs. Omikunle used the occasion to call on Nigerians to remain steadfast in prayer for the safe return of the abducted students and teachers, expressing hope that they would soon be reunited with their families.
She also urged residents of Oyo State to continue supporting the administration of Governor Seyi Makinde through prayers, particularly as efforts are being intensified to secure the release of the victims and strengthen security across the state.
