He said that the total number of 60 vehicles were impounded at the first round of night patrol by the agency.

Dr. Akin Fagbemi said, “In the course of the operations, 12 heavy-duty articulated trucks, 11 motorcycles, nine tricycles and 28cabs and buses were impounded for fragrantly violating traffic rules and regulations along the identified routes.”

The chairman further expressed that, the vehicles were impounded along Iwo Road Interchange, Agodi-Gate Bus Stop, Mokola Roundabout, Academy and the tollgate along Lagos Ibadan Expressway, between 1800hours on Thursday, 5th March, 2020 and 0210hours on Friday, 6th March, 2020.

“This patrol is sequel to several public complaints on the recently noticeable traffic gridlocks occasioned by unruly drivers and illegal parking at certain parts of the state in the core of night.
