Mogaji Arogundade of Ibadanland, Chief Solomon Teniola Adegbola, installed by Oba Saliu Adetunji on 5th February, 2018 has joined other prominent people to mourn the demise of the first class monarch.

He described the late Olubadan as a man truly loved by God and anointed to lead the people of Ibadan in these interesting times.

His words, “His Imperial Majesty was a man that was truly loved by God to lead us in Ibadanland because his reign was relatively peaceful. He was never involved in any kind of negativity.”

Mogaji Adegbola who was installed as Mogaji when he was 20 years old in 2018 added “I wish to commiserate with the immediate family of the Olubadan, His Excellency, Engineer Seyi Makinde, a foremost Ibadan son and governor of Oyo State, the Olubadan-in-Council, the Central Council of Ibadan Indigenes (CCII) and all Ibadan indigenes at home and abroad on the demise of this great king.”

A few other young Mogajis have since the installation of Chief Teniola Adegbola been given permission by the Olubadan-in-Council to head their different families and compounds.
