The late former Governor of Western State, General Adeyinka Adebayo has been eventually prepared for burial in Iyin Ekiti, Ekiti State.
Before his burial, the people of Ekiti united to celebrate him. Governor Ayodele Fayose also presented, on behalf of the good people of Ekiti the State Flag to former governor Adeniyi Adebayo during the lying-in-state ceremony organised in honour of Late General Adeyinka Adebayo at Oluyemi Kayode Stadium, Ado-Ekiti on Friday 19th May, 2017.
The flag is a symbol of the honour and respect the state has for the late icon.
